Details:
- Very little is known about this event. A Regiment aircraft, type unknown, made a forced landing just outside the
aerodrome and damaged its undercarriage. This minor incident happened at the same time as questions were being
raised in the Saeima (Latvian Parliament) about the frequency of flight accidents within the Regiment. The military
newspaper Latvijas Kareivis mentioned the incident only to point out that other publications' reports of this
trivial event were greatly exaggerated.
